The love and sex addicted are looking for the eagle’s feather on the bottom of the sea, the sea cucumber on the mountaintop, the light so dark that the rest of the universe must be dimmed for it to be seen, the spotlight operated by the Special Lighting Engineer, the solo performance on the stage with no play and an audience of one, exhaust fumes as the cure to starvation, the knife to heal the wound, the salt bath for the burned, the tango that is really a duel. Such love is not love but attack.
