On death

The things that I think are out there, threatening me, are just arrangements of atoms. There is nothing to fear. Atoms do not harm other atoms. The material world cannot harm the material world. All that can happen is rearrangement, and rearrangement is not harm.

Oneness, the spirit underlying all things, changes in form but not in substance. The collapsing of a wave does not destroy the ocean. There is nothing to fear.
