Pray for sanity in decision-making
Pray for sober action

God wants me to have all the candy in the candy store
And I'm sitting on the stoop, pouting
My Higher Power's love for me is total
To recognise that all is due to me as a child of God
Is humility not arrogance
To deny that would be arrogance

When all else fails, intensive work with alcoholics
Will ensure relief from the bondage of this disease

Each of us is the sum total of all
That is where my moral responsibility comes from:
We are all one
***
It's not cockiness that I am confident I will stay sober
It's trust in God
