Serenity and discomfort

Serenity requires equanimity: the acceptance of what is, regardless of one's former judgements of it. Discomfort is not itself a problem, because it forces a redefinition of what is acceptable. Every time I expand the scope of what is acceptable, the number of alternate universes I am able to live in to good effect increases. If I am to be supremely useful to God I must be able to live in any of the universes God disposes.
