First level: ACTION
This means asking God what to do and doing it. This is simple, action-oriented, others-focused, and extremely effective. It drags the spirit behind it, although the spirit may resist, and the emotions may remain recalcitrant.
Second level: FLEXIBILITY
This means invoking God's help to adjust to unexpected or 'difficult' circumstances as they arise. At this level, emotions may still be wild but quell swiftly and do not linger.
Third level: DETACHMENT
This means relying on God, not the world, for identity, sustenance, and safety. As spirit, you cannot be harmed. At this level, the emotions are largely level, rising and falling like the gentle swell of the sea on a calm day.
