The two vital resources available from God are knowledge of
God’s will for us and the power to carry that out. Knowledge and power. All
knowledge in the world is available through the Internet, accessible through a
terminal within the home. All power in the grid is available through an
electrical socket in the wall. When you fire up the Internet, when you plug in
a kettle, you are accessing one tiny corner of almost infinite resources. When
you go into your heart and ask God for direction and strength, for knowledge
and power, you are tapping one tiny corner of absolutely infinite resources.
You do not need to understand how the Internet works or how physics operates:
you simply need to operate the terminal, to perform the Internet search, to
plug in the kettle. Similarly, you do not need to understand God to access God.
The terminal and outlet for the knowledge and the power are deep down within
you, and you can access them right now if you are willing to set aside self and
go to God in complete, innocent humility.
