The first path is the path of fear. On this path, there is no God; there is no oneness with humanity; there is only the image of oneself that must be presented and manifested in the world; you mistake yourself for your body and your circumstances, and your body and your circumstances become the centre of your life and its main objective, with the ultimate outcome of death, the only consolation being the possible perpetuation of reputation; alternatively, distraction through comfort, kicks, and oblivion beckons.
The second path is the path of love. On this path, we are spirits sent to this realm to inhabit bodies to be used as communication devices to wake each other up to oneness and love through atonement: at-one-ment: the recognition that the separation between us and the Power that created us never occurred. You are perfectly safe, and you always have been and will be. Wake up and wake others up: that is all.
